Surendra Gupta, Ph.D.  Dr. Gupta is the President of American Radiolabeled Chemicals, Inc. (ARC), one of the largest suppliers of radiochemicals in the world. He holds a Ph.D. from Wayne State University, specializing in radioactive carbohydrates. He started his career at New England Nuclear in 1973. Dr. Gupta, along with his wife, Karen, founded ARC in 1983. Since then, Dr. Gupta always seeks to fulfill the need of researchers around the world. The world headquarters of ARC is located in a private campus in St. Louis, MO and has branch offices in Vancouver (Canada), Cardiff (UK), and Hyderabad (India). ARC is one of the top two suppliers of radiolabeled chemicals in the world. Its 2009 catalog (the biggest in the industry) contains more than 4,000 radiolabeled and unlabeled neurochemicals and biochemicals for life science research. Through a network of worldwide distributors, ARC’s products are sold globally. ARC employs about 30 people at its world headquarters. The company has been profiled in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Indo-US Business Journal. In 2005, ARC received an Export Achievement Award from the US Department of Commerce. ARC was also recognized by the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Growth Association as one of the top 50 companies in the St. Louis region. Dr. Gupta is a member of the American Chemical Society. He regularly attends conferences and conventions around the world. Dr. Gupta and his wife, Karen, are actively involved with the Humane Society and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Top Regis Greenwood, CHP Radiation Safety Officer  Top Don Tegeler  Don Tegeler started working with American Radiolabeled Chemicals, Inc. in January 2004. He is currently the Director of Accounting for the company. Don oversees all tasks related to accounting and human resources. Don enjoys the challenge of working for growing companies. "That's the reason I moved to ARC," says Don.
Don has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern Illinois University. He started his career as a Retail Auditor for a nationwide shoe company is 1965. Don currently resides in St. Louis County with his wife. He enjoys football and collecting Snow Village houses. Top |
